It’s not day three hundred and ninety of lockdown (though we are about 4 weeks in) it’s just that it felt like it today.
I would like to be able to share some wisdom or philosophical insight each day in these diaries, but today is not that day. If anything the insight is that although all the days can seem the same, some are good and some are shit. Today was the latter.
The one positive from today was that we got out early and ran 20 x 30s fast intervals. If nothing else was achieved at least I have that for the records. At least by the end of this lockdown I will be fitter than when I went in, if a little crazier.
It was an unproductive day on the study front where I felt like I was going backward. I must remember to trust my internal procrastination clock, it does wonders for breaking up the day. I can’t really think now what I actually did with the day. Let’s just write this one off and focus on tomorrow.
Tom’s Tip: Write down three things you achieved at the end of the day, that way you won’t feel like you’ve fallen into a pointless YouTube hole and not achieved some sort of mindful progression.
